Join Will Luera, Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre, as he leads both YLA and LWRBA members in exploring the similarities and differences in how Millennials, Gen-Xers, and Baby Boomers interpret work life balance, and what it means to each.

Under Will Luera’s interactive and engaging approach, we will explore differences, confirm stereotypes, and dispel myths of each generation to shed light on how each one tends to balance work and free time, the frequency and ways in which each tend to work, and other areas to help sharpen our understanding of other generations and improve our workplace relationships. 

The event will consist of a short happy hour followed by interactive activities, surveying, and discussion. Use this as an opportunity to meet YLA and LWRBA members and have both lighthearted and serious discussions on these topics!

About the Moderator
Will Luera is the Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre, Director of Big Bang Improv and serves as the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston, Artistic Director of the Pilsen Improv Festival, Artistic Associate of the Chicago Improv Festival, Artistic Advisor to the Women in Comedy Festival and Part-time Faculty at Boston College. Will is co-creator of Healing Moments for Alzheimer’s, a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy, and ministry for persons with dementia and their caregivers. Since 2004, Will has also served Healing Moments as consultant for Improvisation Education. Will tours globally as an improv and theater actor, director and instructor that performs and teaches regularly all across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Support The Food Bank of Manatee's "Sack Summer Hunger" campaign and donate kid friendly food item to help fight childhood hunger. This year, the "Sack Summer Hunger" program will distribute 1,000 weekend food bags to kids over 9 weeks this summer in Manatee County.

We will be collecting food and cash donations on behalf of the Food Bank at our May 25th Battle of the Generations event. For every $5 in food donated, or every $5 cash, you will receive one raffle entry for a One Night Stay at the new Homewood Suites, opening this summer! Please consider making a donation - every bit helps!

The most needed single serve items are: individual cereal packs, oatmeal pouches, microwave mac 'n cheese, ramen noodles, pop-top canned pastas, fruit cups/ fruit squeeze pouches, cracker packs, 100% juice boxes, tuna pouches, Vienna sausages, or breakfast bars.
