Creating a Culture of Collaboration through Cross-Generational Coaching

Presentation begins at 8:00 a.m.

The workplace is evolving. A new generation is entering the workforce, and with that comes the potential to impact a company’s culture. At our May LEADS program, four generations come together for a lively panel discussion as they share experiences and insight to help you and your company foster a workplace poised for cross-generational success. During this event you will learn the most important takeaways to develop a culture in which talent of all ages can work together to innovate and create success for your company. You'll learn how to empower others to become more effective in the workplace and advance your performance through collaborative coaching.

Anne Heller, Executive Director

Take Stock in Children of Manatee County

Anne Heller is currently serving as Executive Director of Take Stock in Children of Manatee County.  Anne is absolutely passionate about the Take Stock program!  She was a devoted supporter of the organization long before taking on her current position.  Anne began serving on the Take Stock Board of Directors over three years ago.  She was serving as Board Vice President when she stepped down to take on the role of Executive Director.

As much as Anne enjoyed serving on the Board and leading the Take Stock team, her true love is in the role of mentoring our Take Stock scholars.  Anne began mentoring her student in October 2015.  She meets weekly with her mentees throughout the school year, offering support, guidance and encouragement.  Anne works with her student to establish goals, improve academic and life skills, as well as develop self-esteem and confidence.  As much as the student benefits from being mentored, Anne will be the first to say that she receives so much more out of mentoring than the student!

Take Stock in Children provides college scholarships, mentors and hope for deserving at-risk students to break the cycle of poverty and help them reach their greatest potential.  One to one mentoring is maximized through dedicated volunteers encouraging students on a weekly basis, during the school day, on the school campus.  Motivated students are guided by advocates to embrace the opportunity of preparing for higher education to achieve their dreams.  Family cycles of poverty, prison, and addiction are broken through volunteers and education.  Students succeed and become educated, engaged community citizens and leaders.

Joey Brannon

Joey started Axiom in 2005 with a vision to help small, family-owned businesses achieve their goals. Many business owners lose sight of the dreams they had on day one, and reconnecting them with that vision is the first part of the process. A small business owner at heart, Joey understands the struggles, frustrations, joy, and accomplishment that come from running a company focused on serving others.
With over 20 years of small business experience, Joey brings both financial discipline and creative strategic thinking together in one process. At the outset, he helps companies build practical strategic plans for growth. And then, he engages with the leadership team to execute those plans. Along the way, he coaches business owners and their direct reports through tough decisions and setbacks. And he celebrates the wins and accomplishments with the team.
